The Sea Breeze area offers a unique blend of agricultural life and the volcanic beauty of Santorini’s landscape.
Santorini’s vineyards are famed for their unique grape varieties that produce exceptional wines. The island’s volcanic soil and dry climate create ideal conditions for vine growth. Prominent varieties include Assyrtiko, Vinsanto, Aidani, Athiri, and Nykteri, known for their high acidity and distinctive aromas. The uniqueness of these vineyards is attributed to Santorini’s special conditions, where grapes develop unique characteristics in nutrient-rich volcanic soil.
The dry climate and strong winds necessitate a traditional cultivation method called ‘kouloura’ or ‘basket.’ In this method, vines are woven into a basket shape close to the ground to protect them from the wind and retain moisture. This technique enables the vines to withstand harsh conditions and produce high-quality grapes, essential for Santorini’s renowned wines.

The Sea Breeze Deluxe Resort is located in the heart of the village of Eksomitis, at the southernmost tip of Santorini Island.
Cape of Exomitis lays in a quiet and unspoilt area, where the long black sandy beach starts from Perissa village end ends after approximately 3.5km. The hotel is close to the famous volcanic red beach and near the archaeological site of Akrotiri Excavations, extremely attractive because of its historical significance.
